Our \u2018Dementia friendly parks<\/a>\u2019 project is moving forward at a pace and has just got the next exciting phase underway. We\u2019ve now developed a draft environmental self-assessment tool and accompanying guide, and recently held a briefing session to get a small number of sites involved in the first round of testing to see how these new resources work in practice. Does what we\u2019ve created make sense? Is there anything missing? Are the resources easy to use?<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll update the resources based on the feedback we receive before undertaking further testing with a wider range of sites to make sure that the work we\u2019re doing is applicable to as many different types of site as possible. Hopefully we\u2019ll also be able to visit some of the sites for ourselves and meet the lovely people who have engaged with the project so far. We might even get to add to our collection of bench photos<\/a>!!<\/p>\n

We look forward to launching the resources later this year once the testing has finished and letting everyone know about the next phase of the project, so watch this space.<\/p>\n
