Lori La Bey talks with a panel of experts today about improving care for those living with dementia when in the hospital.<\/p>\n

Teepa Snow,<\/strong> MS, OTR\/L, FAOTA, is an Occupational Therapist with over forty-five years of clinical and academic experience. Her organizations, Positive Approach to Care\u00ae (PAC) and the Snow Approach Foundation, provide online and in-person education and products to support those living with brain change.<\/p>\n

Polly Logan,<\/strong> DDS, was employed as a general dentist for several years before being inspired to join Teepa and the Positive Approach to Care\u00ae team. She currently serves as the Chief Communication Officer for Positive Approach to Care\u00ae.<\/p>\n

P.K. Beville<\/strong>, Dr. P.K. Beville is a world-renowned expert in dementia care and is the founder of the non-profit Second Wind Dreams.\u00a0 She is the author and creator of the Virtual Dementia Tour, currently in 28 countries and 14 languages.<\/p>\n

Michael Ellenbogen<\/strong>, was diagnosed with Young-Onset Alzheimer\u2019s Disease at the age of 49. As a world-renowned International Dementia Advocate & Connector, he has been featured in nationally syndicated TV, radio, and other media outlets. He has written for blogs, newspapers, journals, and websites and shared his personal perspective as a guest speaker.<\/p>\n

Michael served on the PA Alzheimer\u2019s Disease Planning Committee and other advisory councils. He testified before the government and has three letters published in the U.S. Congressional Record. He was a regular speaker at NAPA and was featured in the ADI\u2019s 2012 World Alzheimer\u2019s Report. He represented the U.S.\/World for people living with dementia at the World Health Organization in Geneva.<\/p>\n

He is interested in motivating those with Alzheimer\u2019s to raise their voices and reduce the stigma surrounding the disease. Michael wrote about his journey with the disease in his book entitled \u201cFrom the Corner Office to Alzheimer\u2019s.\u201d<\/p>\n
