There was a slow but steady stream of people coming in to find our a bite more about dementia from the stands available, picking up during the lunch break. We had a good view of the match, but sadly haven’t been able to go back and see the rest of the match.

On Wednesday we headed to Hereford where a dementia information event hosted by Dementia Matters Here(fordshire) took place at the Kindle Centre. In addition to a selection of stands from local organisations, there were a few talks on different topics. This included one from Research Assistant Jen Bray about Meeting Centres, providing a bit of background about what Meeting Centres are, where they’ve come from and where they are now, and why they are important within our local communities.

Both events were good opportunities to network with a range of local organisations and groups in each county, some we already knew and others that we hadn’t been in touch with before, and to get some of our research and resources out to a wider audience.

Thanks for inviting us!

Connect with ADS on <a
